You probably already know the basics of producing a good tone. But if you are having problems with getting the tone quality you want, consider adjusting a few things and see if you can hear a difference.
-What shape are your lips making? -Is there space between your teeth? -How much mouthpiece is on your top or bottom lip? -What is your tongue doing? Most of the experts we've talked to suggest: -Lips together, flat chin; like you're holding a straw -Always maintain space between the teeth -Mouthpiece 50/50 split between top and bottom lip -Tongue stays out of the way unless articulating (like saying "oh") |
